- 02
Find your User Library
In Ableton, open Settings/Preferences → Library and note the User Library location.
- 03
Copy the two device files
Create an Everhit folder in the User Library. Copy
EverhitSync.amxdandeverhit_live_bridge.jsinto it together. - 04
Start the companion
Double-click
EverhitAbletonCompanion.exeand keep its window open. This preview is not code-signed, so Windows may ask you to confirm with More info → Run anyway. - 05
Load Everhit in Ableton
Open Ableton's Browser, choose User Library → Everhit, and drag EverhitSync onto a track.
- 06
Connect the Live Set
Press Ctrl + Alt + N, sign in, and choose the Everhit project. The same shortcut opens the bridge page after the Set is connected.
Every session
Start the companion, then create.
Run the companion before Connect, Push, or Pull. It communicates only with Ableton and the browser on this computer, then securely sends project changes to Everhit.
Browser permission: if your browser asks to access devices on your local network, allow it. Everhit uses this permission only to reach the companion at 127.0.0.1 on the same PC.
Keep your original Live Set. Everhit cannot yet reconstruct every third-party plug-in state, rack, automation envelope, or other opaque Ableton data. Test Pull on a disposable project first.
